Irene is the owner of Mai Anesthesia Solutions and has been in the medical field for 27 years, 17 of which have been devoted to providing anesthesia. She attained her anesthesia degree at Florida Gulf Coast University and trained at Tampa General Hospital. Training at a Level 1 trauma center gave her an excellent opportunity to perfect her skills as she provided anesthesia for a wide range of surgeries including transplants, cardiothoracic cases, trauma and OB. These skills along with her caring attitude give her a unique ability to provide excellent care to make her patients feel safe and comforted throughout their surgeries knowing that they are in good hands. When she is not doing anesthesia, she loves spending time with her husband and two young children and family. Thet are a very active family. They love sports and traveling. When asked what part of her position she enjoys the least, she dislikes that she doesn’t get to follow up with her patients. This is what led her to expand her services in another direction. She started a Medical Wellness Center called Luminess Med Spa, that offers services like Botox, fillers, CO2 laser treatments, RF microneedling, laser hair removal, medical weight loss and hormone replacement therapy. Having this Med Spa has allowed her the opportunity to create and maintain long-lasting relationships with her patients. She devotes her career to helping people embrace aging and achieving any personal wellness aspirations they may have.
